To enter List view, click the leftmost part of the triple View button (located at the top of the iTunes window, to the left of the Search field), or press Command-Option-3. This is the best way to see detailed information about your music and other content, because each track or item displays on its own line with a number of columns of information about it. The first of the three views available is List view.
